Heimler

Heimler (Japanese: ヒムラー Himmler) is an underling of Volzhin, a villain who breached the Archanean castle, and an optional sub-boss in chapter 12 of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light and its second remake, Shadow Dragon; he is among the characters cut from the first remake, Book 1 of Mystery of the Emblem, with his role replaced by a generic Soldier with similar stats, and a Silver Lance. In Shadow Dragon, he is given a door key and will charge toward the player's party. Like several mini bosses, Heimler lacks dialogue.
Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light
Role
Heimler is stationed in the Millennium Court. In Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, he is mentioned as having taken Boah's Thoron tome by Camus. In Mystery of the Emblem, this is changed to Volzhin, as Heimler was omitted, a change which remained in Shadow Dragon.

Trivia
- Heimler being cut from Mystery of the Emblem, in addition to being the only Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light boss missing from the Fire Emblem Museum listing, resulted in confusion with regards to if he even appeared in chapter 12 of Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, resulting in some to believe he was a new addition to Shadow Dragon. VincentASM assumed Heimler's data in the Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light was unused, and listed him as such on the Serenes Forest website. Only recently was the mistake that caused this misinformation to circulate rectified and addressed head-on.[1]
- Like the other characters cut from Mystery of the Emblem Book 1, Heimler has unused character data in Mystery of the Emblem.
- In Shadow Dragon, Heimler only has a profile portrait, his full portrait file is only a version of the dummy portrait. This may be due to his lack of dialogue.
