Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light

Heal (Japanese: ライブ Live) is a healing staff which was introduced in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light and appears in every game of the series with the exception of Gaiden and Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, in which Recover takes its place. It is the most basic of the healing staves, typically restoring a minimum of 10 HP to one adjacent ally. Although its healing output is much lower than the more advanced staves, its minimal weapon level means any staff-wielding unit can use it without needing to increase their rank, which is particularly useful for newly-promoted units who have just gained the ability to use staves.

Fire Emblem Cipher

Heal is a common skill in Fire Emblem Cipher, found on cards depicting members of healer classes. Characters who have cards with Heal include Lena, Maria, Malliesia, Yumina, Ethlyn, Adean, Lana, Janne, Corpul, Elen, Clarine, Serra, Priscilla, Tiena, Rhys, Mist, Laura, Lissa, Maribelle, Brady, Emmeryn, Elise, Jakob, Felicia, Forrest, Dwyer, and Arete. The skill has the same effect on all of these cards: for a cost of 2 bonds, the user may choose one discarded card in their Retreat Area which does not depict the current user of the skill, and add that card to their hand.

Trivia

  • Heal is the Japanese name of the Reconcile staff skill in Fire Emblem Heroes.
