Personality and character
Hawkeye is reserved and short-spoken, he rarely speaks longer than necessary. During his recruitment, Hawkeye curtly explains to Eliwood/Hector that he will drive off the bandits and then immediately departs - leaving Eliwood/Hector bewildered.[4] No matter who he is speaking to, Hawkeye's dialogue always remains terse and to the point.
Hawkeye maintains a stoic demeanor, even in the face of death. When speaking to Louise, Hawkeye requests that she give his wife's necklace to his daughter, Igrene, should he fall in battle, knowing that Igrene will understand without conversation.[2] He is resolute when contemplating his mortality and is satisfied with fulfilling his duty as guardian of Nabata.

- Jamieson Price, Hawkeye's English voice actor in Heroes, also voices Rudolf in Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, Zephiel in Heroes, Priam in Awakening, and Virion in both Heroes and Awakening.[5]
