On all difficulties, Haitaka will have Rally Defense, far earlier than any other unit in Conquest can possibly have it. This is an incredible support skill, and by itself makes Haitaka very much worth capturing and deploying. It can buff many units at once, and will allow them to survive many more encounters on enemy phase. It is particularly helpful in the next few chapters, which have several large groups of enemies that can be difficult to eliminate during player phase. On Hard mode and above, Haitaka additionally gains Strong Riposte along with higher base stats, enhancing his enemy phase and making him an overall stronger combat unit. His performance on Lunatic mode is largely identical to his Hard mode performance, as he only gains a weapon level and Seal Defense, the latter of which he will learn by levelling up normally. | On all difficulties, Haitaka will have Rally Defense, far earlier than any other unit in Conquest can possibly have it.
