The Gwyllgi class, known as the Cerberus (ケルベロス, Kuruburosu) class in Japan, is a monster class that is exclusive to Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. Gwyllgis are stronger versions of mauthe doogs. Gwyllgis appear to be three-headed dogs with sharp fangs. They only use monster weapons; usually they use Hellfang, or rarely, the weaker Fiery Fang.

Gwyllgis are quite powerful monsters. They have low HP, but very high speed and skill, which means that they will often hit twice and accurately. They have a movement stat of 8, so they can quickly move around to attack units. Still, they have below average strength, defense, and resistance, so a quick attacker can easily defeat a gwyllgi.

The Japanese name, Cerberus, refers to the three-headed dog of Greek mythology who guards the gate of the underworld. "Gwyllgi" is the name for a gigantic black dog of Welsh mytholology; seeing such a dog is a warning of death.[1]
