Grants Spd+3. If unit's Spd > foe's Spd, deals damage = 70% of difference between stats. (Maximum bonus of +7 damage. Combos with Phantom Spd.) If unit's Spd > foe's Spd, reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by percentage = difference between stats × 4 (max 40%).
At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, grants Atk+2, and if unit initiates combat, inflicts Atk/Def-4 on foe during combat and foe cannot make a follow-up attack.

Guardian Fang (Japanese: 新年の戦猫の爪牙 New Year's War Cat Claws and Fangs) is a weapon skill in the beast category which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes. It is a personal weapon of the New Year's variation of Lethe. Guardian Fang is a skill that, in addition to boosting its wielder's Speed, has two effects that activate should its user's Speed be higher than its target's: first, it boosts its damage output based on 70% of the difference between the two stats, to a maximum boost of seven points; second, it reduces the damage dealt to the user from both attacks and area-of-effect special attacks not associated with Røkkr Sieges by a percentage based on four times the difference between the two stats, to a maximum reduction of 40%..

At start of user's phase, transforms user if user is untransformed and not adjacent to a human ally, or untransforms user if user is transformed and adjacent to a human ally. On a turn where user transforms, user's Attack is boosted by an additional +2 and, if user initiates combat, reduces target's Attack and Defense by -4 each during combat and target cannot make a follow-up strike.
