Grieth (Japanese: ギース Geyse) is a dread fighter and major antagonist of Fire Emblem Gaiden and Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia's Act 3: War of Deliverance.
Role
He is a pirate overlord with control over Zofia's western desert and oceanic regions. His underlings kidnapped Est, causing Catria and Palla to come to Valentia in search of her, and caused hardship for many people in Zofia. Sonya and Deen work under him, though they both hold grudges against him, and it is unknown how they came into his "employment".
He is fought in the middle of Act 3, he is required, as Celica cannot open the western floodgate until his death, as he holds a Mila priestess hostage that has important information for Celica.
