— Gheb

Gheb (Japanese: ゲブ Gebu) was a Grado commander and strategist who appears as a boss in Ephraim's route in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. He was the commander leading the defense of the strategic Fort Rigwald when Ephraim began his invasion of Grado, and had captured Tana. He was an extremely arrogant and self-absorbed leader who openly did not care at all for the lives of his subordinates, and when one of his soldiers questioned the war, Gheb threatened the soldier that if he didn't follow orders, he would be burned at the stake.[1]

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones

Gheb is the boss of Chapter 9 of Ephraim's route.

Soldier: B-but– It’s not just me! Even General Duessel is opposed to this war!
Gheb: Duessel? You’d side with that washed-up coward? And who is your commanding officer? Is it Duessel? Come on, out with it!
    Soldier: Y-you are, Sir Gheb.
Gheb: That’s right. So that should make it clear whose orders you follow, eh? You got that, dolts? If you do, then shut up and get in formation. No one cares whether you minnows live or die anyway. Got it?
