Gamble (Japanese: 一発屋 Gamble) is a combat skill which debuted in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. It boosts a units's critical hit rate when it is active, in exchange for lowering their accuracy. In Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn in particular it is designed as a risky skill to use with its high increases to the critical rate and steep penalties to hit rate, making it just as likely to make its user completely miss an attack as it is to reward them with a critical hit. Additionally, Radiant Dawn requires that it be activated by command when moving the user in order to have its effect, so an allied unit's Gamble skill cannot be in effect on the enemy phase. Awakening and Fates changed the skill to make its effects much less extreme.

Gamble is present as a skill on one card in Fire Emblem Cipher: B03-030HN Red-Hot Knightly Soul, Kieran. It is automatically triggered when a base Kieran changes class into this card, giving him an enormous +50 attack boost until the end of the turn in which he changed class.
