Strategy
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody.
|
The first part of this map is fairly simple as long as you maintain a brisk pace. The enemies only aggro in small bites and only when you move into their attack ranges, meaning you can advance down the west side easily. Make your way to the stronghold and place Petra on it to spawn some friendly Brigid soldiers. As you approach the target at the southeast corner, the real trouble begins. Three groups of enemies spawn, and if any of their commanders reach the target, it's game over. Hubert is particularly dangerous since he will use his Meteor to delete one of your units. Bum-rush him with a strong flier and get him before he gets you. The eastern Assassin commander is also dangerous since he can move right through forests and will reach the target within three turns. Send your fastest-moving units to intercept them before it's too late (and if you have a Meteor or Bolting of your own to spare, so much the better). Once you've taken out the reinforcements, the battle is yours.
