Flare (Japanese: 陽光 Brightness) is an offensive skill which debuted in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and is present only in it and its sequel, Radiant Dawn. It is the mastery skill of the Sage and Bishop classes in the former game, and of the Arch Sage, Empress, and Summoner classes in the latter. In both games it decreases the enemy's resistance stat, and in Radiant Dawn it also drains the enemy's hit points to heal the user.
