Fjorm (Japanese: フィヨルム Fjorm) is a princess of Nifl, and a character who debuts as a major protagonist in Book II of Fire Emblem Heroes.
Fire Emblem Heroes
Role
There are three different variations of Fjorm available to Heroes, all of which are tied to her storyline appearance in Heroes. The normal variation of Fjorm is a Legendary Hero, added to the cast of the game at the launch of Book II, and is the fourth original character in the game to be playable; this variation of Fjorm was made available for summoning as part of the first Legendary Hero summoning focus released on November 28, 2017, the same day as the Book II update, and a 5★ Fjorm can also be obtained by clearing Chapter 1 of Book II. A New Year's-themed variation of Fjorm was made available between the period of January 1, 2019 through February 1, 2019 as part of the summoning event surrounding the New Year's Wish update. A bridal variation of Fjorm was made available between the period of May 21, 2019 and June 21, 2019 as part of the summoning event surrounding the Bridal Belonging update; this variation is notably the only character variation introduced in the update whose normal variation was already in the game by the time of that update, and the first staff user in the game who does not have access to Imbue or any other special skill as part of her default kit.
Fjorm is the princess of the ice kingdom Nifl. Her kingdom was destroyed by the fire kingdom Múspell and she witnessed as its king, Surtr, killed her mother. She is first mentioned in second intermission of Book I by her elder sister Gunnthrá.
She first appears in person in Chapter 1 of Book II. At the end of Part 4, Fjorm is battling against Surtr in Askr. However, she is too weak to stand up to him, and collapses from exhaustion. In Part 5, as Loki is about to finish her, the Order of Heroes shows up and rescues her. After waking up at the Askran castle, Fjorm allies herself with the Order.

Analysis
This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
Fjorm: Princess of Ice is available for free upon completing Book II Chapter 1 Part V and is one of the easiest Legendary Heroes to obtain. Her base kit includes a Distant Counter weapon in Leipter as well as a unique shielding skill and Shield Pulse, placing her in the role of a mixed tank. The Quick Riposte sacred seal is a good fit for her to improve her enemy phase. She does well enough in her duty and her ease of acquisition is undoubtedly a great boon, but her stats are iffy all around and she is generally outclassed by other Water Legendary Heroes like Azura: Vallite Songstress and Chrom: Crowned Exalt.

Analysis

Fjorm: New Traditions is outclassed across the board by Inigo: Festival Flower. If your heart is set on using her, dependable 35/35 offenses and poor bulk place her in the role of an offensive archer, so a simple Brave Bow/Death Blow set should do nicely for her. Her Kabura Ya has a built-in Chill Speed effect, so you can also pass her another Chill skill to her and make a support set out of it.

Analysis

Fjorm: Bride of Rime is one of a very few heroes to have a unique staff. Her Gjallarbrú's ability to inflict Isolation on enemies cripples Aether Raids defense teams who rely on dancers to charge and overwhelm you, making her a great boon to any Aether Raids offense team. Give her an HP +5 sacred seal to make sure the ability can hit. As a bonus, she also possesses Dazzling Staff in her base kit to allow her to fight from safety. Bridal Fjorm is a powerful support unit who is well worth the orbs it costs to get her when she pops up in summoning focuses.
Personality and character
Fjorm is described by Gunnthrá as being gentle, but prone to agonizing over things. Despite her apparent gentle nature, however, she vows revenge on Surtr after he kills her mother, fighting him to the point of exhaustion against overwhelming odds. Fjorm also seems to be traditional in her beliefs, as she exhibits a drive to repay a debt to the Summoner for saving her. This belief stems from a tradition in Nifl where if a person saves someone else from the snow, they owe the savior a debt or favor.
