Fire Emblem Engage (Japanese: ファイアーエムブレム エンゲージ Fire Emblem Engage) is a turn-based strategy role-playing game for the Nintendo Switch. It is the seventeenth main installment in the Fire Emblem series, the second for the Nintendo Switch console following Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and it will be released on January 20, 2023 in all regions.
The game is set on the continent of Elyos, one thousand years after a great war resulted in four kingdoms collaborating with heroes from other worlds to seal away a fell dragon. The player follows Alear, a divine dragon, and their allies as the seal on the fell dragon is about to break and release the great evil on the continent. The game features an "Emblem Rings" system where characters are able to equip and bond with characters from previous games in the franchise.
Development
Release
Fire Emblem Engage will release on January 20, 2023. In addition, a special edition of the game, subtitled the Divine Edition, will be release alongside the regular edition. The Divine Edition will come with the game and its case, a steelbook, an artbook for the game, art cards of the legacy characters and a poster.
