Fire Emblem Cipher/O Courage, O Burning Soul
O Courage, O Burning Soul (Japanese: 勇気よ燃ゆる魂よ O Courage, O Burning Soul) is the sixteenth booster series released for Fire Emblem Cipher. It primarily features characters from Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, and Fire Emblem Heroes. This series was released on March 22, 2019 in Japan. The retail price for individual booster packs is ¥350 plus tax.
This booster series is part of season 4, and will no longer be legal in competitive play sometime in mid-2022. It is notably the last booster series to be released before the first competitive card rotation removes season 1 from competitive play, and thus the last booster series to be legal in competitive play together with the first booster series
As with all of Cipher, the cards featured here has been printed only in Japanese and have only been released in Japan.
Overview
This booster series features a somewhat odd division. The first part, consisting of cards 1-40, focuses primarily on characters from The Binding Blade and denoted with , although cards 34 and 35 depict a character not from the game, Celdia, and originates from its tie-in manga Hasha no Tsurugi; the second part, roughly a quarter of the set, consisting of cards 41-65, focuses primarily on characters from Echoes: Shadows of Valentia (and, by extension, the game of which it is a remake, Gaiden), and denoted with ; the third part, also roughly a quarter of the set, consisting of cards 66-90, primarily focuses on characters from Radiant Dawn and primarily denoted with ; the fourth part, consisting of cards 91-100, primarily focuses on characters from Heroes and is colorless without a continental denotation.
Card List
The series features a total of 100 normal cards, 2 secret cards, as well as 14 alternate foil prints.
For more information on each card see the Fire Emblem Cipher section on the respective character page.
- The cards' epithets are still in raw, untranslated Japanese; these need translation.

Trivia
- This booster series is the first one to garner a few unique distinctions:
- Its first portion, in this case the The Binding Blade portion, does not consist of exactly 50 cards, instead consisting of only 40.
- Its foil alternate R+ and SR+ cards that do not depict alternate artwork from their non-foil normal R and SR versions include a credit for whomever signed the autograph depicted on the card right after the illustrator credit.
- The official Japanese Cipher site retroactively extended this credit to prior-released cards on their online card listings in conjunction with the release of this series, but actual copies of such cards still lack this additional credit.
- It is the first time card 100 has not only been anything higher than an HN rarity (in this case, an R), but also receieved a foil alternate version (in this case, an R+).
- It is the first time since Cipher's mascots began appearing in booster series (back in series 2) in which neither card 50 nor card 100 depicted one of Cipher's mascots.
