Fire Emblem Cipher/Awakening Chapter

Awakening Chapter (Japanese: 覚醒篇 Awakening Chapter) is the second starter deck released for Fire Emblem Cipher. It primarily features characters from Fire Emblem Awakening. This deck was released aside its sister deck, War of Shadows Chapter and The Heroes' Blade of War booster series on June 25th, 2015 in Japan. Its retail price is ¥1,300 plus tax.

This starter deck is part of season 1, and will no longer be legal in competitive play sometime in May 2019.

As with all of Cipher, the cards featured here has been printed only in Japanese and have only been released in Japan.

Overview

This starter deck exclusively features characters of the affiliation. The character set mostly focuses on characters that are early-game recruits from Fire Emblem Awakening, and also includes Lucina. Five of these cards are exclusive to this deck and cannot be pulled from booster packs. These completely exclusive cards have "S02" at the start of their card number.

This starter deck includes a download code for a bonus character, Lucina, using her Cipher artwork, in Fire Emblem Fates. This download code is region-locked, and only unlocks the character for the Japanese version of Fates, this bonus character has not been made available in international releases through any methods. Also included are an instruction manual and paper playmat.
