Fenrir
| ||||
|
Fenrir (Japanese: フェンリル Fenrir or ノスフェラート Nosferat) tome is a powerful dark spell in the Fire Emblem series. It has served in two different roles in the series.
The first version of Fenrir is a long-range tome, and it appears in this role in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, Thracia 776, and Radiant Dawn. It is the dark magic counterpart of Meteor, Bolting, Blizzard, and, in Radiant Dawn, Purge.
The second version of Fenrir appears in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, The Blazing Blade, and The Sacred Stones, in which it is instead a standard-range spell of high weapon level, counterparted to Fimbulvetr and Aura. It also serves this role in Heroes, where it is a red tome that acts as the dark magic equivalent to Bolganone, Thoron, Rexcalibur, Shine, and Atlas.

Fenrir |
From Fenrir, a monstrous wolf in Norse mythology. For the GBA games, it was likely referred to as Fenrir in the localization because internal data calls the tome "Fenrir" instead of the tome's actual Japanese name of "Nosferat". |
