Family Bonds (Japanese: 兄妹の愛 Siblings' Love) is the first available paralogue chapter of Fire Emblem Heroes. It introduces to the game the characters Eirika, Ephraim, Seliph, and Julia, who have been taken under the control of the Emblian Empire, and brought to a strange world in order to fight against the Order of Heroes.
This chapter was added to the game as part of an update released on February 15th, 2017, alongside its featured characters, and a number of related quests, which were available until the Sibling Bonds update was released on February 27th.

Family Bonds/Script
Anna receives a report that the Emblian Empire has invaded some strange new world, and orders the Order of Heroes to move out immediately. Upon their arrival, they are greeted by the twin royals of Renais, Ephraim and Eirika. Ephraim declares that his sibling bond with Eirika is so strong, that the Order will be unable to defeat them. The Order overcomes their challenge regardless, and the twins withdraw.
Elsewhere, the half-siblings of Jugdral, Seliph and Julia, have also been summoned by the Emblians. They resolve to fight their strongest against the Order, so that they may be released from the grip of the Emblians' contract, but are defeated. Julia expresses her hope that, after the next battle, they will be free to return home.
The Order battles Ephraim, Eirika, Seliph, and Julia once more, defeating them and breaking their contract. They all thank the Order for freeing them, and set off for their respective homelands. Ephraim resolves to train harder than usual with Eirika upon their return to Renais, on account of their defeat.
