Part 1: Lonesome King

Pre-Battle

Tiki: RAWRRR! I’m a scary monster! If you don’t give me treats, I’ll play a trick on you!
Dheginsea: Ah, what a fearsome creature. I do hope this offering is enough to satisfy you.
Tiki: Yay, sweets! Hee hee, thank you!
Dheginsea: Heh… Now, I have heard…your family is closely related to my dragon tribe… Is it true?
Ninian: Y-yes.
Dheginsea: I see…
Ninian: Um… Is something wrong?
Dheginsea: I apologize. I was just thinking about my family—my children. When they were young, a long time ago…
Ena: Your Majesty…
Tiki: Where are they now, your children?
Dheginsea: My youngest is back home, in our country, but my daughter and elder son are in…another place. A place that cannot be easily visited.
Tiki: Oh… That sounds sad. I know about being sad…
Dheginsea: I am sorry. I had no intention of making you sad. Please, go and enjoy the festival.
Ninian: Yes, let’s go, Tiki.
Tiki: All right…

(scene change to the map screen)

Tiki: Ninian, do you think there’s anything we can do for that old man we just met—to help him, I mean?
Ninian: I’m not sure… But we can work together to think of something.
Xane: What’s with the serious face, Tiki? I’m happy to help if I can… And that lady over there can help too!
Robin: …Did you just point at me?

Post-Battle

Robin: Familial bonds… Hmph. We should be above such paltry mortal emotions.
Xane: If I knew what his son and daughter looked like, I could transform into them and appear to him, but… I think that may not be the best idea. …Sorry I can’t be of more help.
Tiki: Thank you for trying. I will keep thinking!

Part 2: A Child’s Smile

Pre-Battle

Dheginsea: A beorc festival, is it? Then it has nothing to do with the dragon tribe?
Ena: It seems that way…
Dheginsea: Though, that girl, Tiki… The festival brings a smile to her face, so it must go on.

Post-Battle

Ena: This way, please. We must regroup with the others.

Part 3: Our Hands Clasped

Pre-Battle

Tiki: Ummm… I still can’t think of anything!
Ninian: Tiki, let’s think about it later…
Xane: Don’t worry about the battle! Just leave this to me!
Robin: I will show the fools at this festival a harvest of despair.
Dheginsea: This tournament is no war, but…we ought to show off enough strength to entertain the attendees.
Ena: Right. That way we can gather the most sweets possible…

Post-Battle

Tiki: Um, sir? I thought as hard as I could to come up with a way to help you stop feeling sad… But…I couldn’t think of anything. I’m so sorry…
Dheginsea: There is nothing to apologize for. Your care and concern after only our short conversation… That alone is quite enough. You are a kind child.
Tiki: But…when I was sad, my friend Mar-Mar helped me… So this time, I wanted to help someone, but…I couldn’t.
Ninian: Tiki…
Ena: Let me offer a humble opinion, Your Majesty…
Dheginsea: Please, Ena, speak your mind.
Ena: We are at a festival, so…why not enjoy it together, you and Tiki?
Tiki: …If we did, that would help you stop being sad? Then let’s! I’d love to explore the festival together with you! Er…is that all right, Ninian?
Ninian: Of course…
Xane: Oh, are we all going together? Sounds nice… Am I invited?
Tiki: Xane! Yes, join us!
Dheginsea: …Shall we be off then? We have a mountain of treats to collect for dear Tiki, here.
Tiki: Yay! S-sir, can I…hold your hand while we walk?
Dheginsea: You may. Just as my children did so long ago…
