The Draco Zombie (Japanese: ドラゴンゾンビ Dragonzombie) is a advanced class of monsters which was introduced in Fire Emblem Gaiden. They are dragon corpses resurrected through the dark powers of Duma or Fomortiis, which attack by biting their foes in Gaiden and through blasts of Wretched Air in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. In Gaiden, they also have a more powerful counterpart in the White Dragon.
In both games, Draco Zombies are typically encountered late in the game and are among the most powerful generic enemies the player will face. The class has an immense strength stat backing each of their attacks, which is made even more fearsome in The Sacred Stones through the high might, range and stat boosts granted by its Wretched Air attack. Defeating them is made even more challenging by their high HP, defense and resistance, although players can simplify this by taking advantage of their weakness to certain weapons designed to be effective against dragons or monsters, such as the Sacred Twins of The Sacred Stones.
Draco Zombies tend to play a somewhat prominent plot role in the games where they appear. They are part of a major event in Gaiden, where Alm is trapped in Dragon Mountain late in Chapter 4 and is constantly attacked by waves of Draco Zombies until Celica can reach the Tower of Duma and clear the way forward for him. In The Sacred Stones, the manakete character Morva is transformed into a Draco Zombie by Lyon in Chapter 20 and acts as the boss of that chapter, although he is still classed as a "Manakete".
