Distant Stance (Japanese: 遠反・明鏡の構え Distant Counter・Mirror Stance) is a passive type A skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; unlike most passive skills in Heroes, Distant Stance comes in only one tier. Distant Stance is what appears to be a greatly-enhanced fourth-tier equivalent Distant Counter, in that users with it boost their Resistance during target-initated combat while allowing them to counterstrike their targets regardless of range.
