Defense Smoke (Japanese: 守備の紫煙 Defensive Purple Smoke) is a three-tiered passive type C skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill are known as Def Smoke 1, Def Smoke 2, and Def Smoke 3 in order from lowest to highest. Units with a Defense Smoke skill drop the Defense of all foes within two spaces of the target after the user's combat until the end of the target's respective actions; the size of the Defense drop increases with the skill's tier.
