Defense/Resistance Ruse is a three-tiered passive type B skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill are known as Def/Res Ruse 1, Def/Res Ruse 2, and Def/Res Ruse 3 in order from lowest to highest. Units with a Def/Res Ruse skill, when the user is either the user or recipient of a rally assist skill, drastically drops both the Defense and Resistance of enemies in cardinal directions of both allies involved through their following actions, but also accelerates said enemies' special cooldown during that time; the size of the Defense and Resistance drops are affected by the skill's tier.
