Defense/Resistance Ideal (Japanese: 守備魔防の万全 Defense/Resistance Perfection) is a four-tiered passive type A skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill are Def/Res Ideal 1, Def/Res Ideal 2, Def/Res Ideal 3, and Def/Res Ideal 4 in order from lowest to highest. Def/Res Ideal boosts its user's Defense and Resistance during combat whenever they have full HP or any active bonuses; both stat boosts increase with the skill's tier, with the fourth tier offering an additional increase if both activation criteria are true at once.
