Death Blow (Japanese: 鬼神の一撃 Fierce God Blow) is a skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. Associated with the Oni Chieftain class, it increases the user's critical rate considerably whenever its user initiates a battle.
In Fates, it is a class skill associated with the Oni Chieftain class; in Heroes, it is a four-tiered type A passive skill (whose individiual tiers are known as Death Blow 1, Death Blow 2, Death Blow 3, and Death Blow 4 in order from lowest to highest). In Fates, Death Blow is a skill increases the user's critical rate considerably whenever its user initiates a battle; in Heroes, the skill instead boosts the user's attack stat when initiating combat, with the bonus size increasing with the skill's tier. The skill returns in Three Houses, still boosting attack instead of critical rate.
