Death Blow

Death Blow (Japanese: 鬼神の一撃 Fierce God Blow) is a skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. Associated with the Oni Chieftain class, it increases the user's critical rate considerably whenever its user initiates a battle.
In Fates, it is a class skill associated with the Oni Chieftain class; in Heroes, it is a four-tiered type A passive skill (whose individiual tiers are known as Death Blow 1, Death Blow 2, Death Blow 3, and Death Blow 4 in order from lowest to highest). In Fates, Death Blow is a skill increases the user's critical rate considerably whenever its user initiates a battle; in Heroes, the skill instead boosts the user's attack stat when initiating combat, with the bonus size increasing with the skill's tier.

Fire Emblem Cipher
Death Blow is present as a skill on one card in Fire Emblem Cipher: B02-035HN Aloof Flame, Rinkah. It always gives Rinkah a +20 attack power bonus during her player's turn, which is temporarily doubled to +40 on the same turn that a base Rinkah changes class into this card.
Trivia
- Death Blow is the first skill in Heroes to get a fourth-tier version, with this tier added to the game in the Arrival of the Brave update.
