Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem

Cutting Gale (Japanese: シェイバー Shaver) is a wind-themed tome introduced in Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem. Along with Excalibur, it is one of the earliest tomes to possess the aesthetic and statistical traits that would later define wind magic, including being very effective against flying units. It reappears in the same capacity in New Mystery of the Emblem. In Three Houses, Cutting Gale does not deal bonus damage to flying units.
