Colossus (Japanese: 鳴動 Rumble) is an offensive skill which debuted in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. It is the mastery skill of the Warrior and Berserker classes in Path of Radiance, and the mastery skill of the Reaver class in Radiant Dawn. However, its effects differ quite significantly between its two game appearances; in Path of Radiance it slightly increases the damage dealt if the user's build stat is greater than that of the enemy, but in Radiant Dawn it simply triples the user's strength stat.

Colossus

"Colossus" originated in Latin as a term for a giant statue, and in modern English it is often used to refer to any giant thing or creature. Likely named as an analogy for its Path of Radiance effect, where the skill takes power from the user being larger, or more "colossal", than their enemy.
