The '''Chest Key''' is a fairly common [[item]] in the {{FES}}. It allows any unit to open chests, when normally, only [[Thief|thieves]] can do so. Their durability and price changes according to the game, the average being five uses.

The chest key first appeared in {{FE3}}, and it is available in all subsequent games but {{title|Genealogy of the Holy War}} and {{title|Shadow Dragon}}.
