And now I can work to help bring about peace. That makes me so happy.
— Charlot

Charlot (Japanese: シャルロー Sharlow) is the adoptive son of the Thracian general Hannibal and the brother of the dancer Laylea. Trained as a priest of the Church of Bragi, he influenced Hannibal to defect and ally with Seliph's liberation army.

Charlot is Coirpre's substitute character, filling his role in the story and gameplay if Silvia died or failed to be married in the course of the first generation.

Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War

Role

When Seliph's liberation army seized Meath with the intent of claiming the rest of Thracia, Charlot was held hostage by King Travant in a bid to get Hannibal to co-operate with his orders to fight Seliph, and was left under the guard of General Distler at Luthecia Castle. When Seliph conquered Luthecia, Charlot was freed and warned Seliph of Hannibal's plight. He joined Seliph's army and convinced Hannibal to stand down and accompany him.
