Category:Weapons: Difference between revisions

Weapons in the Fire Emblem series have been arrainged into a few different catigories. In the earlier games like Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Sword of Light (the first in the series) you have the basic weapons: Swords, Axs,and Lances. This also introduces the gimmic of the way weapons work. They each have their own streingh and weakness. The weapons triangle, as the game refers to it (first apperance being Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu), is as followed: Swords are strong against axs but are weak to lances. Lances are strong against swords but weak to Axs, and Axs are strong against Lances but are weak against Swords.

Later on in the series a second weapons triangle was created. This happened when Mages became a more useable class. The three magic types are Light, Dark and Anima. Light is strong against Dark, Dark is strong against Anima and Anima is strong against Light. Archers arn't affected by the use of the weapons triange. They attack from one space away from the enemy.
