— Captain
|
This unnamed Gra Captain is the boss of Prologue IV of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon; he is a new addition to the plot of the War of Shadows that did not appear in Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light or its first remake, Book 1 of Mystery of the Emblem. The captain is the last obstacle standing between Marth's army and their successful escape; his role is primarily to stall Marth's army long enough for Gra's main force and the Sable Order to arrive and finish them off. Although he arranged a trap hoping Marth would kill one of his own men, Gordin, the captain ultimately fails in his duty and falls to Marth and his escaping army.
The Captain is a rare boss character to have spoken dialogue but no in-battle quotes of any sort.
The captain is the earliest boss in the Archanea chronology that is not a wholly generic unit; his introduction in Shadow Dragon supplanted Gazzak, the boss of the subsequent chapter, in this distinction.
Role
The Captain is the boss of the fourth prologue chapter. As such, he is fought only on Normal Mode, and has no data for any of the Hard modes.
