The Cantor (Japanese: 祈祷師 Shaman) is a magical class which was introduced in Fire Emblem Gaiden. In its original appearance in Gaiden as well as in its remake, Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, Cantors are an enemy exclusive class which fights with both black and white magic. They also have near-exclusive access to the Conjure spell which allows them to summon monsters to assist them in battle.

Cantor

A cantor is someone who leads a crowd in the recital of religious verse and song. This name is presumably meant to allude to the fact that cantors are magically inclined men in the service of the church of Duma.

English
(unofficial)

• Shaman
• Exorcist

• Used in the Gaiden fan translation.
• Popularized by Serenes Forest for the Gaiden appearance. An exorcist is someone who dispels evil spirits, contrary to the Gaiden class's ability to summon evil spirits.
