Cancel Affinity (Japanese: 相性相殺 Compatibility Cancellation) is a three-tiered passive type B skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill are known as Cancel Affinity 1, Cancel Affinity 2, and Cancel Affinity 3 in order from lowest to highest. Units with a Cancel Affinity skill negate any weapon triangle affinity granted by the user's skills, if the user has one of Triangle Adept, Ruby Sword, Sapphire Lance, or Emerald Axe equipped, as well as affecting how weapon triangle affinity works if the enemy wields any of those skills; the latter effect varies by the skill's tier, with the first tier simply negating affinity in the same fashion as on the user, the second tier applying the affinity-negating effect only if the user has a weapon triangle disadvantage, and the third tier turns the affinity-negating effect into an affinity-reversing one.
