The Broken Sword is a sword weapon in the Fire Emblem series. After being completely consumed, any sword becomes this. They are still usable, but their low accuracy and might, coupled with a considerable increase of weight, render them useless. These swords can be repaired with the Hammerne staff, in any castle, or from the blacksmith.
The broken sword appears only in four games—Mystery of the Emblem, Genealogy of the Holy War, Thracia 776, and Three Houses. In the rest of the series, weapons disappear after wearing out.
