The Bride (Japanese: 花嫁 Bride) is a special female-only class exclusive to Fire Emblem Awakening. It exists only as additional downloadable content, coming with the DLC chapter Smash Brethren 2 and debuting as Eirika's class in said chapter. Using the Wedding Bouquet which comes as one of the rewards for completion of the chapter, any female unit can be reclassed to Bride. The class is similar to the War Cleric, using staves alongside melee weapons, here lances and bows.

The Bride does not exist in the game's data by default, and is only added to the game by the DLC package. As such, if a unit reclassed to Bride is sent via StreetPass to a copy of Awakening which has not purchased its DLC package, or if a copy of the game with the DLC purchase is loaded without the DLC present on the console's SD card, it shall appear in that copy of the game as an Outrealm Class.

Trivia

  • Curiously, for a class which was based around a redesign of Eirika, the Bride cannot use swords as Eirika did in her original appearance and her appearances as a SpotPass character in the same game.
