Reason: To match every other weapon type

Brawling weapon or gauntlets is a weapon type which was introduced in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and is present only in it. They are the weakest weapon type in this game and universally have lower might than their counterparts, but they tend to have good accuracy and are by far the most lightweight weapons. Additionally, every gauntlet acts as a brave weapon if the user initiated the combat, compensating their relatively low might.

Overview

Unlike other weapons in Three Houses, pure magical-oriented classes and mounted classes can't use brawling weapons.
