The Blessed Shield (Japanese: 聖なる盾 Holy Shield) is an accessory item in the shield category of equipment which is exclusive to Fire Emblem Gaiden and its remake, Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It gives its user very strong protection against enemy Terrors - giving an enormous 13-point defense boost in Gaiden, and by halving all damage from their attacks in Shadows of Valentia - but it is useless against any other enemy. It also heals a small amount of its user's hit points every turn.
