Ah! Are you the bad people that Veronica warned us about? Why can't you just go away? Besides, if you get any closer... I won't be able to hold back, and then... I can't help it if I do awful things to all of you!

Following up on the report received by Anna on Embla's latest attack, the Order of Heroes return to the World of Mystery once again. Upon their arrival, they first meet Navarre, the Scarlet Swordsman, who simply states that he has been hired to kill them. The Order fights him off, however, and he muses on their strength and how it compares to another person, before leaving.
The Order is again forced to defeat several Heroes of the World of Mystery, including Minerva, Maria, Jeorge, Barst, and the Pegasus Knight sisters Palla, Catria, and Est, before they finally discover Embla's true objective for returning to the World of Mystery—the Divine Dragon Princess, Tiki. Tiki tries to persuade the Order to leave, but they instead take her on in battle, defeating her and breaking her contract. Tiki thanks the Order for freeing her, and departs.
After the battle, Alfonse laments on how only Embla possess the power to close the gateways to the other worlds. Sharena explains to Kiran that there are too many gates for them to defend, and too many Emblian soldiers attacking. Alfonse wonders what would happen if Askr gained the power to close the gates from Embla, and mentions some old legends that suggest that the power to open the gates would switch to Embla—a worse situation than the current predicament, according to Sharena, as they would then need to watch over every gate, and not just the ones currently open. Anna believes that the war being waged by Veronica will not end until either one side has the power to both open and close the gates, or if the two nations can resolve their differences and work together again. She wonders if Embla's incursion into the World of Mystery was just another diversion, and orders the Order to return home, so they can investigate which world Embla has invaded in the meantime.
