Analysis

This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience.

With excellent stats and a powerful personal skill, Anna can be a dominant force throughout the campaign. Her growths in Mag/Dex/Spd, at 50% each, are nothing short of the best in the game. Once she's reclassed into a magic-oriented advanced class, she will easily destroy units in combat, which in turn will create chances for her skill to trigger. This should not be underestimated, as it can pay for almost five stat-boosting tonics per trigger. If she cashes it in even once per map (and more can be expected if she's used extensively), her skill can be seen as a constant-effect +2 boost to five stats, distributed across any units as the player sees fit, with countless alternate uses. Needless to say this is a very strong skill on a unit that was already top-tier through stats alone.

Anna has such great potential that heavily investing in and optimizing her should be considered; gaining even one level without Tiki's blessing may be seen as a waste. Since Axe Fighter's growths aren't great for Anna, an immediate class change might be tempting, but should be done in consideration of Anna's planned final class – if it is to be Griffin Knight, then Sword Fighter or perhaps Sword Armor make some sense, giving boosts to Dex and Spd or Def which are unlikely to ever be wasted by overcapping. If Anna is to be a High Priest, then only Sword Armor makes sense, as Anna won't be able to absorb the Sword Fighter's extra Dex and Spd. In any case, simply leveling to 10 as Axe Fighter may be the best option, as it speeds up Anna's proper debut while still offering some HP and Def.

For promotion, the two aforementioned advanced classes are the most promising options. As a High Priest, Anna will get the most out of her skill, with a Lck cap of 39 and the growths to reach it quite easily. High Priest also has more utility and will never have to waste a turn hiding from archers (or lancers that could break a Levin Sword). The class also offers high Mag, but is slow-moving (almost certainly requiring Boots to be usable), and will cap Anna's Spd at just 33, necessitating boosts through emblems, skills and tonics to consistently double enemies. As a Griffin Knight, Anna will have excellent mobility, evasion and Spd without any boosts, but may get locked down by archers, or broken by lances. While each class has some drawbacks, this is a choice between two flavors of a top-tier unit.

Endings

Li'l Merchant Anna
Anna finally reunited with her family. She had many sisters, all with the same name and face, but only she had ever traveled with the Divine Dragon Monarch.
With the Emblems' success in the war, rings came strongly into fashion. She made all the profit she'd ever wanted off the trend.

Divine Dragon Alear & Li'l Merchant Anna
Alear became the new Divine Dragon Monarch. His/Her bonds with the rulers of each nation resulted in lasting peace.
Anna finally reunited with her family shortly after the war. She and her business partner got rich off a new line of products made with resources from Lythos.

Battle quotes

Mitan: Well, well, well. So the thief turned out to be just some brat. What do you say, boys? I bet we could get a pretty penny in ransom out of her parents.
Anna: My parents have no idea where I am, so that's a pretty weak threat if you ask me.
Mitan: Yeah, well I didn't ask you! We'll figure that out later!
