The Ancient Ring is an accessory item in the ring category of equipment that debuted in one of Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia's downloadable content scenarios, Flight from the Ruins. The Ancient Ring provides a massive forty-point resistance boost to its holder, though it has no other effects.
The Ancient Ring was, according to tales Clair was told as a child, made by a magically advanced kingdom said to be underground.

- The ring's massive +40 bonus to resistance may be in reference to the fact that certain rings in the original Gaiden boosted stats to the maximum value, 40. For example the Angel Ring and Speed Ring set the character's luck to 40 or the character's speed to 40, respectively.
