The Sacred Stones

Mm. Everything's in place. This Princess Eirika supposedly defeated General Glen. I wonder… If it's true, then she's a foe to be reckoned with, and no doubt. Still, there's no reason to worry. I can best her. I know it
— Aias

Aias (Japanese: アイアス ) is an old friend of Caellach's from their days as mercenaries, again working together to attempt to bring down Princess Eirika of Renais, and the boss of chapter 13 of Eirika's route of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. Caellach tasks Aias into taking on Eirika and her army, under the (false) belief that she killed Glen, while he tries to hold back renforcements incoming from Rausten; these tasks end up failing, and Aias ends up either defeated or forced to retreat.

Battle quote

It's not over yet. Victory still hands in the balance. They key is defeated the enemy commander, but…
— Aias, in The Sacred Stones.

Death quote

Very…impressive. You've pierced the battle formations I'd perfected… No one’s ever done that. Renais's tactician has earned my highest regard.
— Aias, in The Sacred Stones.

Retreat quote

Rausten knights?! That means Caellach's– Curses… All troops! Retreat at once!
— Aias, in The Sacred Stones, should Aias still be alive at the end of the final turn of chapter 13 (Eirika's route).
