Killing Edge

Deals extra damage on critical hits.

First game

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light

The Killing Edge (Japanese: キルソード Kill Sword) is a sword-type weapon whose main feature is an enhanced critical rate. Its power and durability may be regular; however, when in the hands of nimble and skilled units, such as myrmidons or swordmasters, it becomes a lethal weapon.

The killing edge made its first appearance in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, and it has been in all subsequent games but Gaiden and its remake, Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, as well as Genealogy of the Holy War.
