Have you heard, Horace? I am told the rebels just recaptured the palace. That accursed Archanean wench! To hell with Camus’s pleas. We should have put her to the sword with the rest of them...
— Dejanira, to Horace

Dejanira (Japanese: デジャニラ Dejanira) is the leader of a Dolhrian faction attacking western Archanea, and the commander pulling the strings behind the so-called "traitor" Horace, threating many Archanean deaths should Horace not cooperate. Dejanira is eventually defeated by the Archanean League, after which Horace tells his surviving underlings to drop their arms.

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon

Role

Dejanira is the boss of Chapter 12x; as such, he can only be encountered if the player had 15 or less units by the end of Chapter 12. He is a new addition to the plot of the War of Shadows that did not appear in Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light or its first remake, Book 1 of Mystery of the Emblem.

Personality

Dejanira is a vile indivdual who is perfectly willing to threaten innocent civillians in order to blackmail his enemies, such as Horace, if it benefitted Dolhr in its war against the Archanean League. He is also rather violent, claiming he will skewer his opponents like rabbits in battle.

Battle quote
