The Venin Axe or Poison Axe (Japanese: 毒の斧 Poison Axe) is an uncommon axe which was introduced in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. It is statistically near-identical to the regular Iron Axe, except that it contains a toxin which gives it the added effect of poisoning units when the weapon successfully hits them. These axes are only ever found in the hands of enemy units, and can only be obtained by the player's army in the Tellius games by stealing from enemies who wield them.
