Is Fianna (and Iz) really part of Thracia?

So straight up, it's really weird Leif is listed as a character from Thracia. I figured it was someone just getting overly technical about the post game united Thracia and was about to remove him and all the other characters from early game Thracia 776, but I paused when I saw the map. Because, yeah, it really looks like Fianna and Iz are part of Thracia. But I question the authenticity of that map versus the script itself. Because the situation in the story seems to highly support that Fianna is in Munster. The empire are running around it in control of things, which they don't do (at least as directly) in Thracia and when escaping Munster focus is given on reaching the Thracian border. As that matters to where the Empire can throw their weight around. So while the map certainly makes it look like Fianna is geographically located within Thracia, I think we'd be better off going with the script and what we actually see in game. Because even that map doesn't actually show a national border, that only works by overlaying it on the Jugdral map. I'd even go as far as to say that Fianna is the south eastern village you can see in Chapter 8 of Genealogy of the Holy War. In addition, Tara was seized by Thracia during the course of Thracia 776, so I feel it warrants being included here as a location (though Linoan as a character would probably be best left out as she flees immediately). If we include Tarrah here then we should include Munster on the Grandbell page because it is a duchy of the empire under Arvis, and we should include Daein on the Begnion page since it was annexed after the Mad King's War. I don't think we should include temporary occupations as part of the game's plot that get reversed at the end of the game. PikaSamus (talk) 15:43, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
