Split the Fates tome from the Page?

I added the Japanese name of the tome from Fates, and it is literally called "Mjölnir" in Japanese, not Thor Hammer. While the Mjölnir and "Thor's Hammer" are the same thing if you think about it, I feel like the different function (no stat bonus, particularly the C rank, the 4x crit is on all killer weapons in Fates, not unique) implies it's intended to be a different, non-regailia, tome. Now, if Fate's Mjölnir functioned like a very powerful regalia weapon, I'd be more inclined to think it was intended to be the same tome.

But, particularly, the Mjölnir tome in Fates can be bought in regular shops, even, it's not treated as special by the game in any way like it is in Awakening, where you can only get it at all from spotpass/DLC. L95 (talk) 16:46, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

Wouldn't be the first time a big, bad regalia got portrayed as something far less imposing in another appearance. I mean, look at the Gaiden version of Excalibur--a quite commonplace basic-looking spell (among black magic spells, only Fire has a bigger learnbase, and only Fire and Thunder have less power, with Thunder having enhanced range to justify) with critical rate as its shining point. Keep in mind, wind elementals had not yet gained their distinctive anti-aerial traits (that was still one game off).
International name is probably going to be the biggest clue. If "Mjölnir" holds for international Fates, this could easily be chalked up to the Japanese simply "getting the reference"...--Shiningpikablu252 (talk) 17:19, 28 November 2015 (UTC)
