Swordmaster

Swordmasters (ソードマスター, Sōdomasutā, Swordmaster in Japan) are a sword-wielding class present in Fire Emblem. Their first appearance was in Template:FESK and have been used in each game of the series since then.
This class focus on skill and speed; their enhanced critical rate allows them to overlook their rather low strength and do considerable damage, even when against units with high defense.
Swordmaster is a possible promotion for myrmidons. Usually, swordmasters cannot be further promoted, except in Template:FERD, where they can become trueblades.
