A weighty but more powerful axe.

Type

Axe

First game

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light

The Steel Axe is a fairly common axe in the Fire Emblem series. More powerful than its sword and lance counterparts, it can be a deadly weapon in the hands of the correct character; its substantial weight and low accuracy usually mar its high might and good duration. This is true for every game, except New Mystery of the Emblem and Awakening, which do not feature weapon weight.

The Steel axe has appeared in all games but Gaiden.
