Starlight (Japanese: スターライト Starlight) is a regalia tome introduced in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light. This spell is forged using the Starsphere and Lightsphere, two of the spheres which adorn the Shield of Seals, and is the only power capable of opposing the dark Imhullu tome used by the Dark Pontifex Gharnef.
History
As a result of being born of the Lightsphere, it possesses the ability to neutralize the attack-sealing effect of the Darksphere-forged Imhullu, and for this reason was created by the White Sage Gotoh for use by Marth's army in fighting Gharnef, Imhullu's wielder, in the War of Shadows. The sheer strain of Starlight's creation was responsible for shattering the Starsphere into twelve shards and scattering them across Archanea.[1] Three years later in the dawning days of the War of Heroes, the tome was stolen by the resurrected Gharnef to prevent further use against him, but in the war's aftermath it was wrested back from his possession by Michalis and returned to Marth, at the cost of his own life.
