Shine (Japanese: シャイン Shine) is an uncommon light tome which debuted in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. In its first three appearances, in the hierarchy of light magic Shine is the second "stage", more powerful than the basic Lightning tome, and a counterpart to Thunder and Luna in the Game Boy Advance games, and to Elfire, Elthunder and Elwind in Path of Radiance. In its fourth and most recent appearance, Radiant Dawn, its rank was greatly increased to make it a counterpart to Arcfire, Arcthunder, Arcwind, and Carreau.
